Coffee Prices Mixed in Sideways Trade

Ice Brazil Robusta the USDA FAS USDA Vietnam

July arabica coffee (KCN23) this morning is down -0.20 (-0.11%), and July ICE robusta coffee (RMN23) is up +2 (+0.08%).

Coffee prices this morning are mixed, with robusta climbing to a 2-week high.  A stronger dollar (DXY00) today is weighing on coffee prices.  However, losses in arabica coffee are limited as the Brazilian real (^USDBRL) today rallied to a 3-week high against the dollar.  A stronger real discourages export selling by Brazil's coffee producers.
