Coffee Prices Close Sharply Lower as Supply Concerns Ease

July arabica coffee (KCN24) Friday closed down -9.40 (-4.01%), and July ICE robusta coffee (RMN24) closed down -150 (-3.39%).

Coffee prices Friday closed sharply lower.  A faster pace to Brazil's coffee harvest boosts coffee supplies and undercuts prices.  Consulting firm Safras & Mercado reported Friday that Brazil's 2024/25 coffee harvest is 29% completed as of June 4, above the 26% last year at the same time and above the 5-year average of 27%.
