December arabica coffee (KCZ24) Thursday closed down -3.70 (-1.48%), and January ICE robusta coffee (RMF25) closed down -84 (-1.89%).

Coffee prices on Thursday posted moderate losses on forecasts for rain in Brazil.  Meteorologist Climatempo said Thursday that heavy rains are expected in Brazil's Minas Gerais region beginning on Saturday.  Minas Gerais is Brazil's largest arabica coffee-producing area,
