Cocoa Prices Retreat on Strong Cocoa Production in Cameroon

September ICE NY cocoa (CCU24) today is down -268 (-3.12%), and September ICE London cocoa #7 (CAU24) is down -237 (-3.59%).

Cocoa prices today are sharply lower after Cameroon's National Cocoa and Coffee Board reported that 2023/24 (Aug/July) Cameroon cocoa production rose +1.2% y/y to 266,725.  Cameroon is the world's fifth-largest cocoa producer.
