Cocoa Prices Climb on Smaller Deliveries from the Ivory Coast

December ICE NY cocoa (CCZ26) closed up +114 (+2.00%) on Tuesday, and December ICE London cocoa #7 (CAZ26) closed up +47 (+1.11%).

Cocoa prices moved higher for a second day on Tuesday amid signs of smaller cocoa supplies from the Ivory Coast. On Monday, data from the Ivory Coast government showed farmers delivered 78,212 MT of cocoa to ports this marketing season (Oct 1 through Oct 18), down -41% from 133,209 MT delivered the same time last year.
