Cocoa Prices Climb as Ivory Coast Rains Slow Deliveries

December ICE NY cocoa (CCZ26) closed up +83 (+1.49%) on Thursday, and December ICE London cocoa #7 (CAZ26) closed up +59 (+1.41%).

Cocoa prices recovered from early losses on Thursday and settled higher on forecasts of continued rains in the Ivory Coast. On Monday, cocoa prices rallied to 2-week highs on supply concerns amid reports that excessive rainfall in the Ivory Coast has cut off roads and damaged bridges, slowing cocoa deliveries to ports.
