Cockfosters Tube station housing scheme approved despite opposition

TfL has been given the green light to build a controversial housing development on the site of Cockfosters Tube station car park despite widespread objection.

Enfield Council has approved the plan for 351 new homes proposed by TfL and developer Grainger Plc, although there were more than 2,800 written objections during consultations.
