Former Fulham boss Scott Parker will take charge of a Champions League game for the first time in his managerial career tonight.
Now in charge of Club Brugge, Parker welcomes Portuguese Benfica in an interesting-looking tie.
The Belgian outfit finished just behind Benfica’s rivals Porto in Group B, impressively losing only once in their six group games.
Benfica, meanwhile, topped a group also containing Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus and look like potential dark horses for the tournament.
While Club Brugge must be respected, it is clearly one of the more favourable ties Benfica could have drawn.
