Cloudy day forecast for Leeds on Wednesday as UK heatwave inches closer

Temperatures are expected to continue to rise in Leeds on Wednesday.

Warmer weather is on its way, with parts of the country forecast to hit 21C this weekend. In Leeds, temperatures will rise on Wednesday, with mostly cloud expected.

Met Office said: "Chilly start, then fine with variable cloud and sunny spells. A few isolated showers developing in the afternoon, otherwise largely dry. Brightening up later. Maximum temperature 17 °C."
