Philippe Clement has confirmed James Tavernier will play at centre-back for Rangers against Union Saint-Gilloise.
The Ibrox captain will fill in centrally due to major injury issues in the position with Leon King drafted in at right back for the Europa League contest.
John Souttar is back in the squad but does not start the league phase match.
Clement still has six absentees in defence with Dujon Sterling, Rafael Fernandes, Leon Balogun, Nana Kasanwirjo, Clinton Nsiala and Ridvan Yilmaz all unavailable tonight.
"We are missing six defenders," said Clement. "That's a lot.
"Kingy has been training well, he's going to do a good job. I made one change, Kingy will play right full-back and Tav will play central because Tav did this role really well against Man U.
"And we need experience in the back because they play with two strikers and they are always on the front foot to find these two fast so I want more experience central."
