Claudia Winkleman is reportedly gearing up to host her own BBC chat show and has apparently already filmed the pilot episode.
The 50-year-old Strictly Come Dancing host has been described as "one of the most popular presenters" at the organisation and is now said to be working with So Television who produce Graham Norton's show.
The reports come following the success of Claudia's current BBC series The Traitors which has been recommissioned for a second series next year.
Her current reality show follows 22 contestants as they head to a castle in the Scottish highlands to battle it out for £120,000.
"Claudia is fast becoming one of the most popular presenters on the Beeb.
"Her chat show pilot went down a storm with execs and there is a lot of buzz about it already. She has a razor-sharp wit and knows everyone in the industry, so she'd be perfect," a source told The Sun.
The Mirror has approached the BBC and Claudia's representatives for comment.
The TV star is well-known for her work on Strictly alongside Tess Daly and she's also presented The Great British Sewing Bee and Hell's Kitchen.
She recently opened up about her new game show Traitors and admitted she felt "very uncomfortable" having to be "mean" to the contestants.
Joining Graham Norton on his name sake show, Claudia cryptically said: ''I am not always mean but I did have to do something at the beginning that I felt very uncomfortable with.
''I loved them all but I knew too much about everyone so had to stay separate from them all.''
Claudia further said she initially knocked back the show before becoming hooked after watching the original Dutch version and back tracking on the offer.
She said: ''I initially said no but then watched the Dutch version and I wept. I loved it so much and said, 'Please let me do it.' I was so lucky to do it.''
Once Claudia has secretly selected who is to be The Traitors, the rest of the players are known as 'The Faithful' and none of The Faithful know who The Traitors are.
Players are then eliminated when The Traitors meet in secret and decide to 'murder' one of The Faithful. The next morning, when the group meet for breakfast, the 'murdered' player does not appear.
