Claudia Schiffer uses this Georgian-inspired window seating arrangement to make clever use of 'dead space' in her kitchen

Claudia Schiffer.

When it comes to desirable kitchen features, big windows come in at the top of the list for us. Natural light streaming through a kitchen can hugely boost its ambiance, and even better if there is a beautiful view to look at. However, oftentimes the areas immediately around windows include some dead or underused space; hence why we love a breakfast nook.
