This lawsuit has been brought forth in the state of Washington on behalf of passengers who were aboard Alaska Airlines flight 1282 last Friday. The lawsuit alleges that these passengers suffered physical injuries and emotional trauma when a piece of the plane, known as the door plug, detached mid-flight. Alongside this legal action, the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has announced that it will be launching an investigation into Boeing's quality control.
