According to Benzinga Pro data Civitas Resources (NYSE:CIVI) posted a 44.02% decrease in earnings from Q4. Sales, however, increased by 60.21% over the previous quarter to $817.81 million. Despite the increase in sales this quarter, the decrease in earnings may suggest Civitas Resources is not utilizing their capital as effectively as possible. In Q4, Civitas Resources earned $163.70 million and total sales reached $510.46 million.
