City regulators have pulled back on introducing new rules aimed at improving diversity, equity and inclusion (Victoria Jones/PA) - (PA Wire)

City watchdogs have axed proposals for new rules aimed at improving diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) at regulated firms.

The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA), which oversee financial services and banks in the UK, had both consulted on the proposals in 2023.
