Greggs could open one of its Liverpool city centre branches for 24 hours a day.
The bakery giant has launched an application with Liverpool Council to allow its Lord Street venue to extend its opening hours to provide a service potentially around the clock seven days a week. The company has asked the city council to grant them a premises licence which would also allow for late night refreshment from 11pm to 5am.
If successful, Liverpool would become the latest city in the UK where Greggs has opened a late night offer.
