It’s Opening Day at Great American Ball Park in Cincinnati and Reds president Phil Castellini has a loud and clear message for fans who want to see the team win: Kick rocks.
OK, no, those weren’t his exact words. What Castellini said was actually way worse.
Asked before Tuesday’s game what he would tell fans who lost faith in the team’s direction after multiple winters spent cutting payroll and just two postseason wins since 1995, Castellini berated the audacity of such criticism by mocking them.
“Well, where are you gonna go?” Castellini said. “Let’s start there. Sell the team to who? … What would you do with this team to have it be more profitable, make more money and compete more?”
Phil Castellini doesn’t care what the fans think because you have no choice but to root for them. Or the team will be sold and moved. pic.twitter.com/FKGBV88TSg

Reds Baseball: Because you’re stuck with us!
It’s not the catchiest slogan, we’ll admit, but damn if it doesn’t represent the team’s philosophy. Except, well, fans are ready to prove otherwise.
