A claim circulating again in September 2026 says the CIA searched 23andMe and Ancestry databases for genetic markers allegedly linked to 'Nordic' aliens. The claim was made by philosophy writer Jason Reza Jorjani, who said retired US Army remote-viewing figure Lyn Buchanan told him about the supposed programme.

No evidence has been produced to substantiate it. The allegation remains unverified and is based on podcast discussions and second-hand accounts rather than a published genetic marker, government document or confirmed investigation.
