Christian Pulisic was reportedly offered to Manchester United over the summer transfer window as the American looked for an exit route out of Stamford Bridge.
According to the Express, the American winger was one of nine players offered to the Red Devils over the summer, with Memphis Depay another name mentioned who appeared close to leaving Barcelona right up until the deadline.
Late into the window, reports emerged via The Athletic over a potential loan move for Pulisic to Manchester United, but nothing materialised. Pulisic has only started one of Chelsea's opening seven games so far this season before Thomas Tuchel was sacked last Wednesday.

It is unknown how the appointment of Graham Potter will impact Pulisic's playing time before November's World Cup in Qatar. USMT coach Gregg Berhalter caused some controversy when he spoke about how the dismissal of Tuchel could be a positive development for the 23-year-old.
"I'm not happy a guy lost his job. But if this means more opportunity for Christian, then it's positive because he's a guy that's proven that he can perform at that level. We'll just have to wait and see."
