Christian Pulisic's future at Chelsea remains unclear heading into the final 12 months of his contract.
The USMNT star has failed to really kick on with the club since his 2019 move from Borussia Dortmund. Pulisic has been a constant in and around Chelsea's matchday squad throughout his four years in England but hasn't lived up to the big expectations of him.
Pulisic's struggles have partially come from the lack of stability in the Stamford Bridge home dugout, with Frank Lampard becoming the 24 year-old's sixth manager at the club. Yet, it could be the appointment of the next boss in SW6 that could kick-start his career at Chelsea.

Mauricio Pochettino is reportedly closing in on a return to the Premier League after weeks of talks with Chelsea's co-sporting directors Paul Winstanley and Laurence Stewart. An appointment is not yet close to completion but it is possible plans are being prepared for the Blues' business in the transfer window.
Chelsea have six games left of the 2022/23 season and despite the main feeling surrounding the club being one of desperation for it to be over, Pulisic is presented with the opportunity to prove his worth to Pochettino. The Argentine has a tremendous track record of working with attacking players and could be the perfect appointment for the winger.
On June 30, Pulisic will enter the final year of his contract. If no suitors step forward for his services when the season concludes, he will be allowed to negotiate a transfer with clubs abroad at the start of 2024 from the January window with his value to Chelsea dwindling.
It's expected that Pochettino will be watching the Blues' remaining games of the season from afar, drawing up profiles of each player. If Pulisic can make a name for himself under Lampard in the final month of the campaign, he could rescue his Chelsea career and make himself one of Pochettino's key assets.
