Max Verstappen and Charles Leclerc appear destined to duel it out for the 2022 Formula 1 crown after only two races this season, but already it's clear the duo hold one another in high esteem.

Each of the stars, both aged 24, have been touted for a number of years as the next big things among F1's next generation of drivers. However, after Verstappen's 2021 title win and Leclerc leading Ferrari 's resurgence on the elite stage, it appears their time to shine has come.
