Brentford ended a run of five successive league defeats against Crystal Palace, but could only manage to get a point against the south Londoners in a game that won't live long in the memory.
The Bees should have had a penalty when Marc Guehi raised his hand from an in-swinging corner, but was adjudged to have been pushed by Christian Norgaard in the build-up. Vicente Guaita kept out Bryan Mbeumo before the break, and was forced to keep out a header from Pontus Jansson in the second half.
The Eagles almost stole victory at the death through Joachim Andersen, but the Dane saw his effort saved by David Raya with Jean Phillipe-Mateta almost pouncing on the rebound.
football.london take a look at some of the talking points from the draw against Patrick Vieira's side.
Stopping the rot
Other than victory over Aston Villa, it has been a tumultuous year for Brentford so far. They had lost their last five league games in a row, and Thomas Frank would have been very pleased to have stopped the losing rot.
They had the better opportunities against a Palace side who were there for the taking, but were unable to make their dominance count. Despite being unable to get victory, it could be a valuable point come May 22.
Christian Eriksen unveiled
Christian Eriksen was unveiled to the Brentford fans for the first time since his arrival in West London, and the Dane received a rapturous reception from both sets of supporters.
Frank confirmed in his press conference on Friday that Eriksen will play a friendly game this upcoming week ahead of Saturday's London derby against Arsenal, and whether he'll be fit enough to take part against the Gunners.
Two huge games
Brentford face Arsenal and Newcastle this month, in what are two massive games for different reasons. Frank and the players will be relishing the occasion ahead of the trip to north London and will have one eye on doing the double over the Gunners.
However, the home game against the Magpies is ultimately the bigger clash no matter how some Bees fans might look at it. Eddie Howe's side enjoyed a good January transfer window, with Kieran Trippier and Bruno Guimaraes arriving on Tyneside. They have turned the corner of late.
