Former Premier League star Chris Sutton believes that it will be an “interesting” battle between Darwin Nunez and Erling Haaland next season.

Liverpool have reached an agreement with Benfica for the transfer of Nunez. The Portuguese club confirmed in the early hours of Monday morning that a deal worth a potential £85m (€100m) had been struck.

The 22-year-old will now travel to Merseyside for his medical ahead of the Reds confirming the transfer. Nunez is set to become Jurgen Klopp's second summer signing, following the arrival of Fabio Carvalho from Fulham.
