Chris Rock is said to have turned down a chat with Oprah Winfrey following the infamous Oscar slap drama.
The comedian revealed, during a performance, that he was offered the chance to do a sit-down with Winfrey about the incident, which saw him being attacked by Will Smith on stage at this year's Academy Awards.
Smith hit Rock across the face during the live TV broadcast for comparing Smith's wife Jada Pinkett Smith - who suffers from hair-loss disease alopecia - to GI Jane because of her shaved head.
An audience member at 57-year-old Rock's show at Arizona Financial Theatre told Entertainment Tonight: "During the evening, he did describe that he declined an offer to go onto Oprah to do a sit-down interview and even a Super Bowl commercial with Will Smith himself.
"He said, 'You are not gonna see me on any interviews crying my heart out about this. I am not going to be a victim'."
He continued: "I think we were all wondering if he was going to talk about that incident or not."
It's also been claimed that at the same gig, Rock also announced that he turned down hosting the next Oscars Award ceremony.
He apparently telling the audience that returning to the show would be like going back to a crime scene.
Meanwhile, King Richard star Smith, who is said to be in talks to resume a biopic on his life, which was reportedly halted because of the March incident, has apologised on two occasions to Rock online.
The first was a couple months ago in a statement on his Instagram page, the most recent was in a video of himself posted in August to his YouTube page.
He said in the clip: "Chris; I apologise to you, my behaviour was unacceptable and I'm here whenever you're ready to talk."
He said he did not apologise to Chris Rock during his acceptance speech for Best Actor because “I was fogged out by that point. It’s all fuzzy.”
Smith also denied his wife, Jada Pinkett Smith, had anything to do with the slap.
“I made a choice on my own.”
The Academy has sanctioned Smith by banning him from attending the Oscars for the next 10 years.
A source told ET that Rock has "no plans" to reply to the video.
