Chris Kaba: Homicide probe launched by police watchdog into rapper’s shooting by armed Met officers

The police watchdog has launched a homicide investigation into the death of Chris Kaba, 24, who was shot by armed Met officers in Streatham Hill on Monday.

The Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) announced the move in a statement released on Friday evening. It said the body’s investigation into the 24-year-old’s fatal shooting has “entered a new phase”.
