If there is one thing we can all agree on, it is that a packet of Munchies is up their as one of the god-tier levels of snacks that we can enjoy at anytime of the day. Whether it be for a movie marathon, or a midday snack, it is an instant pick me up.
Now Nestle Chocolate has revealed a brand new way for us to enjoy those chocolatey squares with their first ever sharing bar - and fans are going wild for it. The iconic chocolate company has previously delighted fans with the Salted Caramel Fudge Munchies and Cookie Dough Munchies that come available as sharing packs, but this is the first time fans can get their hands on a sharing bar.
Priced at just £1, the sharing bar is available now from a variety of supermarkets, convenience, and value stores including Iceland, B&M, Home Bargains, Poundland and Spar.
Described as a "mouth-watering combination of gooey caramel and crispy biscuit encased in a milk chocolate shell", the new treat is said to be perfect for sharing with friends and family - though, we'd totally understand if you wanted it all to yourself.
News of the new Munchies sharing bar went down a storm after it was shared to the Newfoodsuk Facebook page after one shopper spotted it in their local Iceland.
"Not sure about sharing, but banging", raved one shopper.
"Bloody love munchies", replied a second. "I need", wrote a third.
Amy Kendall, Munchies Brand Manager said: “We know that Munchies fans are a passionate bunch – we always receive a tremendous reaction whenever we launch new flavours and formats from the brand. And because they taste so good, it’s not surprising that fans love to munch with their favourite people – in fact Munchies is one of the most popular sharing bags we sell here at Nestlé Confectionery.
“That’s why we are especially excited to introduce our latest innovation – a brand new sharing bar. We’ve set the bar high on this one – it’s got soft, gooey caramel, it’s got crunchy biscuit pieces and the whole lot is encased in a smooth milk chocolate shell. In other words, our new Munchies bar is a bit of a taste sensation!”
