Lansong Yue, a traveler from Beijing, China, embarked on a journey to the United States to witness the solar eclipse. He arrived in Dallas on Thursday and continued his journey by flying to Chicago and then driving to Indianapolis.

Yue expressed that his primary motivation for traveling across the world was the favorable weather conditions in the United States. He emphasized his fascination with the solar eclipse, describing it as the most remarkable astronomical phenomenon on Earth.
