Beijing: A day after Foreign Secretary Vikarm Mishri announced that India and China have reached an agreement on the patrolling arrangements along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in eastern Ladakh, China on Tuesday confirmed that it has reached the agreement with India to end the military standoff in the area.
Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian talking to reporters said: "Over a recent period, both the counries have been in close communication through diplomatic and military channels on issues related to the China-India border."

"Now, both the sides have reached a resolution on the relevant matters which China speaks highly of," he further said.

"Going forward we will work with India to implement these resolutions," Jian said.
On Monday, the Centre announced that a deal has been reached on patrolling arrangement in eastern Ladakh. (with agency Input)
