Children visiting Santa's grotto will take a lie detector test to find out if they've been naughty or nice

A Grotto has introduced a novel way of finding out if children have been naughty or nice. Little ones visiting Father Christmas will take a lie detector test to see if they have been as good as gold this year.

A character named Mr Fibmas (aka Paul Bramley) will be joining the man in red at two shopping centres. Experienced in court trials and investigations, he will be asking kids aged 6-12 a set of questions to determine if they’re fibbing or not.

They'll be asked questions such as ‘when was the last time you ate a vegetable?', 'have you been doing your homework?' and 'have you been keeping your bedroom tidy?'
