Police caught a mum with two young children on her lap without seatbelts as a family drove near Manchester Airport. Traffic officers described the illegal seating arrangement as a 'disaster waiting to happen'.
The family had large suitcases on the rear seat of the Peugeot leaving only one seat free, with the mum sat on that seat with two young children on her lap. Officers pulled the car over on the airport spur earlier today and seized the vehicle.
