The boob job is back!
(Picture: Getty Images)Pamela Anderson has had her image immortalised in print since the day she was born. She arrived into the world — Canada specifically — on July 1, 1967, a national holiday known as ‘Canada Day’. Her birth year also marked the 100th anniversary of the event, as such she was featured in the paper as a ‘Centennial baby’. This funny little newspaper feature would become the beginning of a life in pictures, from photoshoots to double-page spreads, centrefolds to magazine covers — and not all of them by choice.
Anderson was born to be famous but, at times, it’s proved to be less of a blessing and more of a curse. Even in the 2020s, nearly two decades on from the height of her fame, she became the face of the relentless Y2K revival long before she ever agreed to have her story dredged up and mined for content all over again.
