Kansas City Chiefs defensive lineman Tershawn Wharton made headlines with his quick reflexes and heroism during the team's recent game against the Carolina Panthers. In a heartwarming moment captured on video, Wharton sprang into action to prevent a young fan from falling over a barrier as players were exiting the field.
The incident occurred at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina, following the Chiefs' narrow 30-27 victory over the Panthers. As Wharton was walking off the field, he noticed a young fan wearing a Nick Bolton jersey leaning out towards the players. Bolton, intending to give his game-worn gloves to the young fan, was unaware that the child was at risk of falling.
