A lot has been made over this NFL season of Taylor Swift being the introduction to football for a lot of her fans, including international ones. Swifties have tuned into Kansas City games for a glimpse of the 12-time Grammy winner or her new beau, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, but ended up pacing their living rooms in stress like the rest of us.
Now, the reverse is happening as long-time Chiefs fans are starting to dig into Swift’s extensive music catalog. The Kansas City Reddit channel — r/KansasCityChiefs — had elated members of Chiefs Kingdom declaring their allegiance to Swift after KC clinched a spot in the Super Bowl, even if they didn’t consider themselves fans of her music.
