Perhaps Super Bowl LVII was over before it started.
Nearly a month after the Chiefs edged out the Eagles 38–35 to win their second title in four years, a clip of Kansas City defensive tackle undefined delivering an instantly memorable response to trash talk from Philadelphia before the game has surfaced.
In the video, tweeted by a Chiefs fan on Saturday afternoon, the two teams greet each other at midfield before the coin toss at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Ariz. Eagles defensive end Brandon Graham immediately begins chirping.
"Ain't nobody scared of y'all out here!" Graham proclaims. "Y'all boys come out five deep. We three deep, what's good?"
"May God bless you," replies an unmoved Jones. "May God bless you."
Both Graham and Jones had Super Bowl victories and Pro Bowl appearances under their belts entering Feb. 12. In this Super Bowl, however, Jones had the upper hand; he registered two tackles while Graham failed to appear in the box score.
With Kansas City set to host Philadelphia in 2023, it seems unlikely that fans have seen the last of an intriguing rivalry, even if the Eagles are unlikely to re-sign Graham in free agency.
