Timo Werner and Levi Colwill are both out of Chelsea’s trip to Udinese tonight through injury, but the rest of the squad are available to travel to Italy.
Ruben Loftus-Cheek and N’Golo Kante (who starts) are included after both being unable to travel to the United States due to their Covid-19 vaccination status.
Billy Gilmour and Harvey Vale have also travelled and are on the bench, but there’s no Ross Barkley or Michy Batshuayi.
Chelsea play Udinese in their final pre-season friendly of the summer, with Thomas Tuchel’s side opening the new Premier League season away at Frank Lampard’s Everton on August 6. A training match is also due to be played against another Udinese XI on Saturday morning.
Chelsea are in Italy after a difficult tour of the United States that saw them get thrashed 4-0 by Arsenal in addition to losing on penalties to Major League Soccer (MLS) outfit Charlotte FC.
