Chelsea transfer news: Real Madrid make Kai Havertz U-turn as Blues make contact for Neymar deal

Here is your Chelsea transfer roundup on Wednesday, June 7.

Havertz U-turn

Real Madrid have made a U-turn on their decision to pursue a transfer for Chelsea forward Kai Havertz this summer, dropping their interest. That's according to Marca, who claim that Los Blancos are now set to focus their attention on landing Tottenham star Harry Kane instead.

Neymar transfer contact

Chelsea have contacted PSG over a potential transfer switch for star forward Neymar Jr this summer, according to reports from Le10Sport. The Brazilian international has an uncertain future with the French club as rumours build surrounding an exit, with Premier League rivals Manchester United also linked with a move.

Christian Pulisic breaks transfer silence

Chelsea winger Christian Pulisic has broken his silence on a transfer exit from Stamford Bridge this summer, claiming he doesn't know anything on a move. He told a press conference during his time with the USMNT: "I definitely don't keep any social media on my phone anymore, so I probably don't see as much as you guys think I do.

"I don't know what's going on. Like, people will text me sometimes and be like, 'Oh, you're going here?' And I'll be like, 'I didn't even know that'. So they know more than me a lot of the times."
