Havertz headhunted by Don Carlo
According to Fabrizio Romano, Kai Havertz has been identified as Real Madrid's ideal replacement for Karim Benzema should he wish to take up a multi-million pound offer from the Saudi Pro League.
Former Chelsea boss Carlos Ancelotti, who now occupies Los Blancos' hotseat, has been a long-time admirer of the German. The player himself reportedly wished to move to the Spanish capital in 2020 before the Covid pandemic saw the deal cancelled and Chelsea swooped in for his signature.
If Real were to come knocking for the 23-year-old's services, the Blues may face a battle to keep Havertz focused on the club.

Man United made to look like Mug-uires
The Sun detailed how Manchester United are still some way off Chelsea's evaluation of Mason Mount, but could sweeten the deal by using his England teammate Harry Maguire in a player-plus-cash offer.
The centre back's future has reportedly been questioned by boss Erik ten Hag, who believes his player has a decision to make amidst the club's attempts to close the gap to Manchester City at the top of the Premier League.
It is safe to say Chelsea supporters weren't best pleased with the Red Devils' proposed attempts to palm Maguire off onto Chelsea, as seen on football.london yesterday.
Jose could solve Lukaku problem
Romelu Lukaku wishes to stay in Italy upon the expiration of his loan with Inter Milan, ruling out a return to Chelsea, and if that is not with the Champions League finalists then another former Chelsea boss, Jose Mourinho, is prepared to hand his old striker a lifeline at AS Roma.
After being disciplined for his actions following Wednesday's Europa League Final, the Portuguese coach wishes to strengthen his attack in order to close the gap to the top of Serie A.
Lukaku could be his answer in a scenario that would provide an added bonus to Chelsea, who would swiftly part ways with the want-away striker.
