Chelsea dealt major Jude Bellingham transfer blow
Todd Boehly is said to have already put plans in place to give the Blues a jump on their rivals in the race to sign the super-talent, but Chelsea will need to pass in a number of key areas to sign Bellingham.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Liverpool consider the 19-year-old as their main target next summer, having already made contact with Borussia Dortmund.
Boehly will need to be able to convince the talented midfielder that Chelsea are a club on the rise, along with reassuring the 19-year-old that the club will be able to outperform the likes of Madrid, City and Liverpool across all competitions in the coming seasons. Pep Guardiola recently signed a new deal at City that will see him stay at the Etihad Stadium until 2025, which may persuade Bellingham to link up with his former Dortmund teammate Haaland.

Christopher Nkunku alternative emerges as £108m talent requests to leave
As reported by football.london earlier this year, Chelsea have agreed a pre-contract with Christopher Nkunku with the club only having to activate his £52million release clause next summer.
According to Spanish news outlet, Marca, Joao Felix has informed his agent Jorge Mendes that he would like to leave in January. It comes after his relationship with Simeone and parts of the Wanda Metropolitano crowd has deteriorated.
Mendes, as a result, has been said to be looking to tempt clubs into a move in the upcoming transfer window. Felix's future has always come underfire since his emergence at Benfica then Atletico with Manchester United previously among the list of contenders to acquire his services.
Todd Boehly 'considering' new goalkeeper transfer
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has revealed that Chelsea are ‘monitoring’ Jordan Pickford alongside other keepers as they still need to ‘make a decision’ over their current options in goal.
Romano said: “Jordan Pickford is one of the goalkeepers Chelsea are monitoring at the moment, not the only one but nothing is advanced or concrete yet. For sure, they need to make a decision on Edouard Mendy and Kepa Arrizabalaga."
Another goalkeeper on Chelsea's radar is Leeds United's Illan Meslier, with The Athletic reporting that the Blues have started searching for a new No.1 goalkeeper.
