Arsenal have become the latest club to be linked with a summer move for Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount.
And the England international may have already dropped a hint as to where he could be moving through a message to a former teammate. The Gunners have already raided Chelsea once in 2023 for one of their midfielders, snapping up experienced holding midfielder Jorginho on deadline day in January in a deal worth around £12 million.
Jorginho was an excellent servant to the Blues and spent three-and-a-half-years playing alongside Mount in Chelsea's engine room, with both playing key roles in the club's Champions League triumph in 2021. As such, Mount sent a message to Jorginho upon his departure earlier this year that read, "Gonna miss you Papai."

Should Arsenal firm up their initial interest, they could have the upper hand on a potential deal by offering Mount the chance to reunite with Jorginho at the Emirates Stadium. What's more, Arsenal are also the favourites to sign West Ham midfielder Declan Rice, who is Mount's best friend both on and off the field, and the chance to link up at club level could be hugely tempting for both.
Mount remains in talks with Chelsea over a new deal but at this point an agreement is not reported to be close, which has put a number of clubs on red alert. Liverpool are among the other sides to have been linked, and remain the favourites for his signature, with Jurgen Klopp earmarking him as a key target in their quest to overhaul midfield.
