Chelsea star Billy Gilmour's younger brother Harvey signs for Kilmarnock

Billy Gilmour pictured with younger brother as he signs first professional contract

BILLY GILMOUR was certainly a proud older brother today as he saw his sibling Harvey sign his first professional contract.

The Chelsea and Scotland star has been pictured with his younger brother at Rugby Park as he agreed to a full-time deal with Kilmarnock.

Harvey has signed with Killie on a one-year contract until the summer of 2023.

The teenager has come through the Ayrshire side's academy, heavily featuring in their U18s side in the most recent season.

Footballing talent clearly runs in the Gilmour family, with Billy now an integral part of the Scotland starting XI, as well as having good Premier League experience aged 20.

He spent last term on loan with Norwich, making 24 appearances in the EPL.

Gilmour will return to Chelsea for pre-season in July. It remains unclear whether Thomas Tuchel will utilise him as part of his first-team squad, or whether another loan could be on the cards for the midfielder.

Billy joined the Stamford Bridge side four-years ago after signing from Rangers for around £500,000.

He made his debut under Frank Lampard in the League Cup and blew various pundits away for his outstanding performances against Liverpool in the league and FA Cup.

Harvey has reportedly been on Chelsea's radar for some time too.

He now has the chance to impress Derek McInnes at Kilmarnock over the next 12-months as he continues in the U18s.
