Chelsea set to lose major midfield transfer windfall as Cesar Azpilicueta eyes summer exit

Midfielder return

Chelsea loanee Tiemoue Bakayoko could return early from his loan at AC Milan, according to Fabrizio Romano. The midfielder has struggled in his spell with the Rossoneri, prompting a potential return, despite only being one year into a two-year deal.

It could see the Blues miss out on a transfer windfall, prompting a decision over his future upon his return.

Cesar Azpilicueta exit

Chelsea captain Cesar Azpilicueta is eyeing a move away from the club this summer, according to TalkSPORT. The 32-year-old is said to be interested in a move to Barcelona, with only one-year remaining on his current deal.

Raphinha price

Chelsea have been linked with a move for Leeds United winger Raphinha this summer, along with La Liga giants Barcelona. However, according to the Athletic, the Brazilian will cost between £60-and-£70million to sign.
