Friday, March 18 will be remembered by the Chelsea supporters as a massive day in the history of their club.
First off, the Champions League quarter-final draw will be taking place at midday on Friday in Nyom, Switzerland with most at the club having their fingers crossed that they avoid the big hitters in favour of their so called inferior sides in the form of Villarreal and Benfica. In the manager Thomas Tuchel's mind though, he isn't too fused about who could be drawn out of the spherical bowls when the draw gets underway.
"I want us to be the team nobody wants to play. This is the role we see ourselves in this round of eight. It's a big step to do it again, again, and again. We fight for the top four places in the toughest league maybe in the world right now and we fight in the last eight again [in the Champions League]," he said in his post-Lille press conference. "So this brings out the best in us and we want to be the team nobody wants to play against. So let's see what happens."
