Chelsea look to beat out Leeds United for Brighton & Hove Albion teenage left-back Zak Sturge. Sturge, who is an England U18 international, has been on Chelsea's long-term radar, with the Blues submitting two transfer bids for the left-back in January, only to be rebuffed by Brighton.
While Leeds reportedly held an interest in the promising Brighton full-back, 90min reports Chelsea are now in pole position to sign the 18-year-old starlet this summer, who has been described as "lighting quick" by former Seagulls youth boss Mark Beard.
