Chelsea set for another summer transfer overhaul as Graham Potter protection is weakened

February has been a disappointing month for Chelsea. There were no wins. Only one goal was scored. And all the optimism that followed a lavish January transfer window has dissipated. It's why head coach Graham Potter has come under significant pressure.

The 47-year-old – for now – remains in charge. Whether that is still the case after crunch games against Leeds United and Borussia Dortmund is unknown. Victories are what Chelsea and Potter need. Mitigating factors, which have largely been viewed as excuses by supporters, hold little protection amid a run of two wins in 15 Premier League matches.

There was another blow confirmed this morning: Thiago Silva is set to miss the next month having suffered a knee ligament injury against Tottenham at the weekend. The 38-year-old has been Chelsea's standout performer this term and will be a huge miss next week as Potter attempts to guide his side to the Champions League quarter-finals.

That isn't an easy task: Chelsea trial Dortmund 1-0 after the first leg of their round of 16 tie. Potter has also been unable to settle upon his strongest XI, something not aided by the fact the first-team squad currently stands at 31 players – and that is without including academy graduate Lewis Hall.

Players will move on in the summer transfer window. Potentially high-profile ones. Mateo Kovacic and Mason Mount will both have a year left on their contracts and unless new deals are agreed, the prospect of both being sold is very real. It is a similar situation for Cesar Azpilicueta, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Christian Pulisic. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will be allowed to depart.

As always with the Blues, there is much to debate and discuss, especially given recent form and speculation over Potter's future. So we felt it only right to give you, the supporters, an opportunity to ask our chief Chelsea correspondent Adam Newson any question you like about the club.
