Chelsea's Graham Potter stance as under-fire boss gets set to host Leeds United

Chelsea are reportedly not planning to dismiss Graham Potter as manager and will continue to provide him with time to turn results around.

That is according to The Athletic, who report that Chelsea view the situation as 'business as usual'. Potter took charge of training on Monday as scheduled and will continue preparations ahead of their Premier League game against Leeds United at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.

Javi Gracia helped guide Leeds out of the relegation zone courtesy of a 1-0 win over Southampton on his debut, and will be looking to compound Chelsea's misery in the capital next weekend.

The Blues are winless in five league games, and sit 10th in the Premier League - 14 points off the top four and a further 26 adrift of league leaders Arsenal.

Chelsea have collected just two wins from 15 in the league and are closer to the relegation zone (10 points) than they are to the UEFA Champions League qualification places.

Potter is currently the odds-on favourite to become the next Premier League manager to leave his post at 1/3 on Sky Bet.

However, Potter, who signed a five-year contract when he replaced Thomas Tuchel at Stamford Bridge in September 2022, will remain in charge of the club as things stand.

Leeds swept aside Chelsea 3-0 at Elland Road back in August and are eyeing their first league double over their London rivals since the 1991-92 season this weekend.
