Reece James and Ben Chilwell both featured in Chelsea's opening stages of training as Mykailo Mudryk joined his teammates in front of the cameras after completing his £88million move from Shakhtar Donetsk. The Ukrainian winger travelled to London at the weekend but has not played a competitive match since the end of November and will be looking to build on his match fitness.
It will come as a big boost for Graham Potter that James is now involved in some form of team training, with Chilwell seeming to continue his good progress.
The former made his return from a knee injury suffered against AC Milan when Premier League football returned following the World Cup but a good performance was marred by a setback against Bournemouth. James was ruled out for a month.

Chilwell has not featured since he picked up a late injury in Chelsea's final Champions League group match versus Dinamo Zagreb. The defender pulled up after 93 minutes at Stamford Bridge because of the injury that saw him ruled out of England's World Cup squad.
James returned to Chelsea's training pitches ahead of the defeat to Fulham but was still training alone, while Chilwell was deemed to be getting 'closer' ahead of the game against the Cottagers. The assessment of the latter matched that of Ruben Loftus-Cheek who made the bench as the Blues welcomed Crystal Palace to Stamford Bridge at the weekend.
Another player who has been missing in action due to injury is Wesley Fofana. The French defender was set to make his return in December before suffering a setback of his own in a behind-closed-doors friendly against Brentford.
The £70million signing appeared to suggest he would not be out for a month and was pictured earlier this week kitted out in his training gear in what would appear to be a positive step. Fofana could not be seen in footage released on Wednesday morning, however.
