Chelsea's next expected fixtures
Chelsea will expected to play two more matches before the international break as the Queen's funeral date has been announced.
After the match against Fulham was cancelled like all other football in the country Chelsea are scheduled to be back in action against against RB Salzburg on Wednesday in the Champions League, a game that may be Graham Potter's first in charge.

After that they face Liverpool at Stamford Bridge on Sunday, and that could also yet be played despite the country being in 12 days of mourning. The Queen's funeral looks set to be on Monday, September 19, one day after the match, and could allow teams to return to domestic action.
Hudson-Odoi preparation
As Potter takes charge of Chelsea there is a burning question as to how that might effect the future of some of the club's current loanees. Not only Levi Colwill at Brighton, but also Callum Hudson-Odoi, who has started brightly at Bayern Leverkusen.
Ethan Ampadu may also have a chance to play for Chelsea again after Thomas Tuchel didn't offer him much chance in pre-season, his primary use has been described by Spezia manager Luca Gotti.
Meanwhile, Romelu Lukaku hasn't been in action for Inter Milan recently.
Graham Potter plan
Chelsea will not be rushing into decisions with Graham Potter even if he doesn't get his new side into the top four this season.
Potter was announced as the replacement for Thomas Tuchel earlier this week and signed a five-year contract, signalling the intentions of the new ownership group to adopt a long-term plan at the club.
Todd Boehly, who also co-owns the LA Dodgers MLB side, did a similar job with current president Andrew Friedman in America. It is part of a wider club revamp to get the most out of the London club with Boehly seeing lots of untapped potential for expansion.
