Chelsea news: N'Golo Kante call awaits with release list set as Man Utd in 'talks' for transfer

Kante decision awaits

Chelsea are expected to let fans know who has been retained and who has been released in the coming weeks as the end of season list is revealed.

As well as a group of young players that could be on their way out due to expiring contracts, Denis Zakaria and Joao Felix will both be returning to their parent clubs after loan spells at Stamford Bridge.

The biggest decision that is so far undecided is N'Golo Kante. The 32-year-old is yet to renew his deal and will be able to leave the club for free once his contract expires.

Although football.london understands that the Frenchman has held positive talks with the club and he himself has indicated he wishes to be part of the clubs transition, it will be all eyes on the retained list in several weekstime.

Manchester United 'talks'

According to French outlet, L'Equipe, Neymar is in talks to sign Neymar as well as several other English clubs making their interest known to the Brazilian.

The 31-year-old has long been a target for Chelsea and the arrival of Todd Boehly only enhanced the feeling that a true attempt would be made to secure his signature.

It is said that a loan move would suit Erik ten Hag's men whereas Paris Saint-Germain are pushing for a permanent deal this summer as Neymar only has two-years left on his deal in the French capital.

Felix sends subtle transfer hint

Joao Felix has sent Chelsea a subtle transfer message after praising Napoli star Khvicha Kvaratskhelia on social media. The Portugal forward has an uncertain future of his own but passed comment on one of Serie A's brighest sparks this season.

The Scudetto winners are expected to field mass interest from Europe's top dogs this summer as approaches are made for Victor Osimhen, Kim Min-Jae and Kvaratskhelia himself.

Speaking on The Residency, Felix said of the Georgian winger: "Top player! Love the skills."
