Chelsea appear to have all but confirmed the transfer of 22-year-old winger Mykhaylo Mudryk via a series of cryptic social media posts. The Blues have moved at breakneck speed to hijack Arsenal's deal for the Shakhtar Donetsk player and have agreed a fee worth around £62m plus add-ons, which could take the total fee up to around £88million.
Arsenal had looked to be in the driving seat to complete a deal this month after making two bids for the Ukraine star but they were both well below the valuation. Todd Boehly and Co had no such problems though and acted quickly to take control of his future.
The Athletic write that talks were held on Saturday over a move and that a seven-year contract will be signed in the coming days. The two clubs themselves have since taken to social media to cryptically confirm the move.

The English Twitter page of Shakhtar wrote: "FC Shakhtar president Rinat Akhmetov and Chelsea co-owner Behdad Eghbali discussed Mykhailo Mudryk’s transfer to Chelsea FC today. Parties are very close to agree on player’s transfer to the club."

It seems that things are even more advanced than that though, with Chelsea replying to that with the 'eye emoji' hinting to fans at just what may well be around the corner.
Over on Instagram, Chelsea went one step further, posting an image of the player telling supporters 'time to drop him a follow' as well as the caption 'drop Mudryk a message to show some love!' They also added the player's username into their bio.

Mudryk is due to arrive in London for his medical on Sunday, according to Fabrizio Romano.
