Chelsea handed major injury scare as Reece James withdraws from England squad

Chelsea have been handed a blow after Reece James withdrew from the England squad with an injury sustained against Liverpool.

A statement from the FA on Monday morning revealed that James had “sustained an injury” in the Blues’ 2-1 win over the champions on Saturday, in a game in which he played the full 90 minutes and started at right-back before finishing the game in central defence.
